How to make dried flowers
The instructions below will help you create a quick and simple bouquet of dried flowers. You can use it as a gift or decoration for special parties, carrying special and sweet meaning.

Step 1: Prepare dried flowers
Prepare yourself beautiful dried flower stems in advance so that you can create the right bouquets suitable for special occasions. If you don't already have any beautiful dried flower stems, visit the SKFLEUR Dried Flower shop and choose your own dried flower stems from our dried flower stand.

Step 2: Required accessories
To be able to make a dry bouquet you will need a little rope or flower tape, a pair of sharp scissors and several sheets of tissue paper. You will also need a few ribbons to be able to secure and add emphasis to your bouquet.

Step 3: Arrange the dried flower stems at your discretion
Start arranging each of your small flower stems on a flat surface. You may need to trim a few flower branches to match your bouquet. The most important part of this step is to arrange your dried flower stems accordingly.

Step 4: Tie the flowers together
Once you have arranged the dried flower stems as you like, tie the flower stems together with twine or with flower tape. Note, at this step of tying flowers you should be careful because the dried petals are very thin and can naturally fall off if you do it too hard.

Step 5: Prune branches
After you have tied the flower branches together, use scissors to cut the branches so that they can be even and beautiful.

Step 6: Use tissue paper to bundle
Fold the tissue paper into squares then place the tip of the bouquet in the diagonal corner of the paper. Next, you will wrap your bouquet similar to wrapping a small baby. Fold the corner of the paper onto where the bottom of the branch faces forward. Then take the reverse side of the paper and fold it towards the center and do the same with the right side of the paper.

Step 7: Decorate and create accents
When you're done bunching your dried flower stems, you may want to adjust the tissue slightly so that the towels come out a bit so it all looks lovely and pretty. Once you're happy with how you wrap, add accents to your bouquet with ribbons. Sometimes, you can also add images to the bouquet to make a difference in your bouquet.
