Looking for an elegant, low-maintenance centerpiece for your vanity table, or perhaps a thoughtful, handmade gift for someone special? This week, we are taking you behind the scenes with a step-by-step video tutorial on how to assemble our beautiful, signature Classic Square Blooms in a Bottle.
With our specialized DIY floral kits, you can easily bypass the fleeting life of fresh cut flowers and construct a stunning, long-lasting preserved mini-garden that brings effortless luxury to your space.
What’s Inside the Kit
Before you start crafting, lay out your components. Each box contains premium, traceably-sourced floral materials:
Premium Preserved Rose: A flawless, grade-A purple rose with rich color depth.
Vibrant Pink Moss: High-quality preserved moss to act as the base layer.
Dried Glixia Flowers: Dainty accent starlets on long, slender stems.
Preserved Hydrangea Petals: Delicate, semi-translucent pink florets for texture.
Acrylic Perfume Bottle Display: A clear, modern vessel to showcase your design.
Satin Cord Ribbon: A rich crimson tie for the final structural finish.
Step-by-Step Assembly Guide
Step 1: Laying the Foundation
Open the clean acrylic square bottle. Apply a steady layer of clear adhesive directly to the base surface. Using a pair of fine-tip tweezers, position small clumps of the pink moss inside, building a plush, structured bed across the bottom.
Step 2: Securing the Star Element
Apply glue generously to the underside of your main purple rose. Use your tweezers to gently press it right into the center of the moss layout. Tuck a few smaller wisps of moss around the perimeter to lock the stem and base firmly in place.
Step 3: Preparing the Accents
Using a pair of sharp floral scissors, neatly trim your dried stems:
Shorten the Glixia flowers so only a tiny bit of the stem remains below the bud.
Snip the individual hydrangea petals away from their thick main bunching stems.
Step 4: Filling the Empty Spaces
Gently space out and insert the Glixia flower heads directly into the surrounding moss base. Next, scatter the light pink hydrangea petals around the rose, filling the empty gaps to create the soft illusion of fallen blooms inside the container.
Step 5: Sealing and The Perfect Bow
Once you are happy with your arrangement, pick up a small amount of moss and press it into the tiny neck cavity at the top of the bottle. Slide the acrylic cover securely back over the base. Finish the look by wrapping the red cord around the neck, tying a neat, decorative bow right at the front.
Bringing Sustainable Luxury Home
Our Classic Square Blooms in a Bottle series requires no watering, no sunlight, and zero ongoing maintenance—staying perfectly plump and vibrant for 1 to 3 years. It is the ultimate creative solution for anyone who wants real floral beauty that stands the test of time.
