Preserved Bridal Bouquets in Singapore: Wedding Flowers You Can Keep

5 min read

Your bridal bouquet appears in almost every photo of your wedding day. With fresh flowers, it is usually gone within the week. A preserved bridal bouquet looks just as lovely in your hands, and it is still on your shelf when your first anniversary comes around.

At SKfleur, our Bridal Bouquets are handcrafted in Singapore with preserved roses and dried florals. They need no water, they do not wilt, and with simple care they keep their beauty for 1 to 3 years. Here is why more brides are choosing them for ROM ceremonies and wedding days, and how to pick the one that suits you.

Why Choose a Preserved Bridal Bouquet?

A preserved rose is a real rose. It is treated so that it keeps its soft petals and colour without water. For a bride, that solves several wedding-day worries at once.

  • No wilting through a long day. From a morning solemnisation to an outdoor photoshoot and an evening dinner, your wedding bouquet looks the same at the end as it did at the start.

  • Ready before the big day. Because it needs no water, your bouquet can arrive ahead of time. There is no early-morning flower run on the day itself.

  • A keepsake, not a memory. After the wedding, display it at home. With proper care, preserved flowers last 1 to 3 years.

  • Gentle on the budget. Our bridal bouquets start from $45, which leaves more room for everything else on your list.

  • A soft, vintage look. Preserved roses paired with dried florals and grasses photograph beautifully, especially for rustic, garden and minimalist weddings.

Golden Yellow and Blue Margarita

A single golden yellow rose brings a glow of sunshine to this bouquet. It suits brides who want something joyful and a little different from the usual white and blush.

Soft Lilac and Blue Margarita, 3 roses

Our gentlest palette. One soft lilac rose sits between two Blue Margarita roses, making a compact bouquet that is easy to hold through a ROM ceremony.

Soft Lilac and Blue Margarita, 5 roses

The fuller version of the same pastel palette, with five preserved roses. Choose this one when you want more presence in your wedding photos.

Burgundy Dried Flowers

For the bride who loves deep, warm colour. This dried flower wedding bouquet pairs wine and crimson tones with golden foliage for a rustic finish.

How to Choose Your Bridal Bouquet

Start with the occasion.

  • ROM or solemnisation: a 3-rose bouquet is light, neat and easy to carry while you sign and exchange rings.

  • Wedding day and banquet: the 5-rose bouquet gives a fuller shape that stands out against a gown.

  • Pre-wedding photoshoot: any preserved bouquet works well here, since it will not droop during a long shoot.

  • Bridesmaids: a set of 3-rose bouquets in one palette ties the bridal party together.

Then match your palette.

  • Soft lilac and blue suits white, ivory and pastel gowns, and garden or minimalist themes.

  • Golden yellow adds warmth to neutral outfits and suits bright, happy celebrations.

  • Burgundy pairs well with rustic and autumn themes, and deeper bridesmaid colours.

Caring for Your Bouquet, On the Day and After

On your wedding day

  • Handle it gently. Preserved petals and dried stems are delicate, so avoid pressing or squeezing them.

  • Keep it dry. Do not water it, and shelter it from rain.

  • Skip the bouquet toss. Preserved and dried flower bouquets are not made to be thrown.

After the wedding

  • Display it indoors, away from direct sunlight, which can fade the colours.

  • Choose a dry, well-ventilated or air-conditioned room, and avoid humid spots such as bathrooms.

  • A light dusting or a gentle blow of air keeps it looking fresh.

Preserved flowers are at their most beautiful in the first few months and can last 1 to 3 years with proper care. See our full How to Care guide for more tips.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a preserved bridal bouquet last? With proper care, 1 to 3 years. Keep it dry and out of direct sunlight.

Does a preserved bouquet need water? No. Preserved roses and dried flowers should never be watered.

Can I use it for my ROM as well as my wedding day? Yes. Since it does not wilt, the same bouquet can be carried for your ROM, your photoshoot and your wedding day.

How early should I order? Please order at least 24 hours before your delivery slot. Because the bouquet needs no water, you can receive it days ahead of the wedding.

Can I toss a preserved bouquet? We do not recommend it. The petals and stems are delicate and may be damaged.

Will my bouquet look exactly like the photos? Each bouquet is handmade with natural materials, so colours and fillers may vary slightly.
